WEEK 4 – Chris Uphue’s Hearts
(inspired by Cassie Stephens)
Watch the first
half of the Cassie Stephens Video
Practise drawing hearts on scrap
paper or on a whiteboard if you have one. Think about composition (where things
will be on your page) and different expressions on your hearts.
Look at the ideas sheet for Eyes
and Mouths.
Now watch the second half of the video
NO Less than 5 hearts on your
page.
When happy with your pencil
drawings use a permanent marker to copy over your artwork.
Now watch the 2nd video
Using washable markers – add a
thick line around the outside of the hearts and the details.
Now using a paintbrush add water
over the marker and drag the colour onto the inside of the hearts.
If you have water colours you can
use those to fill in your background. Add dots of watercolour in each section
only add two colours. Use different colours in each section.
If you do not have water colour
paints at home, you could make dots out of markers/textas and add water with a
paintbrush.
